1217951 - Why does a recurring schedule unexpectedly display a 'Pending' status?

In Crystal Enterprise, when a recurring schedule is created, the status of 'Pending' appears instead of the expected status of 'Recurring'. Also, the scheduled job does not become recurring after the pending job is successfully completed.

For example, you schedule a report to run once every three months starting on November 30, 2004. The scheduled job runs successfully on November 30, however, the schedule remains in 'Pending' status. It appears that the job is a single run instead of recurring as specified.

Why does this behavior occur and how do you resolve it?
