1218197 - Verifying database shuts down CR when connected to Oracle stored procedure

Symptom

In Crystal Reports (CR) 9 and 10 and Report Application Server (RAS) 9, when you verify the database in a report with a linked subreport that is connected to an Oracle stored procedure Crystal Reports will shut down.

NOTE:

 

To verify the database, in the report Designer, on the 'Database' menu, click 'Verify Database'.

Cause

This known issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00345100.

Resolution

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), this problem is resolved.

Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.

If you have made any modifications to ePortfolio or the Web Desktop in Crystal Enterprise 8.5, 9 or 10, this update may overwrite your custom code in Crystal Server Page (CSP) files. Therefore, it is recommended that you back up your ePortfolio folder before applying the updates.
