1218532 - Group sort order does not change with 'Use Indexes or Server for Speed'

Symptom

In Crystal Reports 10, a report connects to a Btrieve database using the native driver. When the Option, 'Use Indexes or Server for Speed' is selected, the group sort order changed in CR 8.5 but does not change in CR 10.

 

Background

----------

 

To select 'Use Indexes or Server for Speed', on the 'File' menu click 'Options' then click the 'Database' tab. The 'Use Indexes or Server for Speed' check box is in the 'Advanced Options' frame.

Cause

This known issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00324133.

Resolution

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), this problem is resolved.

The native Btrieve driver uses the Group Sort order that was used in earlier versions of Crystal Reports.

Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
