1218724 - Error: "List of Values failure: fail to get values" when using VCL application

When a Crystal Reports XI Visual Component Language (VCL) application attempts to display a report that contains dynamic cascading parameters, an error message similar to the following appears:

"Prompting failed with the following error message: 'List of Values failure: fail to get values.'. Error source: prompt.dll Error code: 0x8004380D".

NOTE: The application may also stop responding with no error message appearing.

This error message appears because dynamic cascading parameters are not supported when used with the Crystal Reports XI VCL.

There are no plans to support this feature in the future.
