1218807 - No data returned when upper lower limit range formulas used in selection formula

In Crystal Reports 10 and XI, no data is returned when upper limit and lower limit range formulas are used in the record selection formula, and the 'Use Indexes Or Server For Speed' option is enabled.

To enable the 'Use Indexes Or Server For Speed' option:

1. Click File > Report Options.
2. Click the Use Indexes Or Server For Speed check box.

The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00456246.

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), Crystal Reports will normalize the range and changes for example: (in "ZZ" to "dd") to (in "dd" to "ZZ") according to Unicode standards. This is done by comparing the start and end of the range in binary. If the start value in binary is greater then the end value in binary the range will be re-normalized. This will ensure that the end values are returned.

Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
