1218825 - Large .Tif images do not appear in report if 'Can Grow' is not selected

In Crystal Reports 9, a report is created from an ADO.NET dataset with .Tif images on the report. If the 'Can Grow' field formatting option is not selected, images 600dpi and larger are not displayed when the report is previewed.

To select the 'Can Grow' field formatting option:

1. Right-click a report object.
2. Click Format Field.
3. Click the Can Grow check box in the Common tab.

The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00385608.

Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), large (600dpi+) .Tif images can now be displayed in the Windows Form Viewer when they are read from an ADO.NET dataset and their objects resized to be smaller than original in Crystal Reports.

Unless indicated otherwise, Weekly Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
