Symptom

The following issues affect the behavior of parameters and prompts in BusinessObjects XI Encyclopedia:

  • When you set parameters in the report viewer, the parameter settings are ignored. 
  • When you open the latest instance of an Apps-flagged report, the prompts form is displayed instead of the report instance.
  • The Prompt wrapper does not display prompt text for free-text parameters.
  • The Prompt wrapper generates an excessive number of database connections.
