1218960 - Error: "The database information for this report is either incomplete ..."

Symptom

A report is created using the native driver for XML and published to Crystal Enterprise (CE) 10. The datasource is configured to point to another XML datasource in CMC under Home > Objects > reportname > Process > Database > Use custom database logon information specified here. Previewing the report results in an error message appearing:

"The database information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect."
