Symptom
In Crystal Reports XI, when creating a report off of an Oracle 9.2 database with a JDBC connection and an Oracle 10G client and creating record selection off of a string field, the SQL statement that is generated contains an 'N' literal that should not be there.
Cause
The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00511264.
Resolution
Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), the 'N' has been removed from the SQL statement.
Unless indicated otherwise, Critical Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
