1219570 - Fonts and objects have low resolution in PDF export from Crystal Reports

• Export a Crystal report to PDF format.
• Fonts and object resolution appear low.

Configure Crystal Reports to use a high resolution printer driver, such as Adobe PDF.

1. Click File > Print in the report. The Print dialog box appears.
2. Click Adobe PDF or the high resolution printer beubg used.
3. Click Print.

Using the No printer option in the Crystal Reports Page Setup dialog box is not recommended as a way to improve the font and object resolution in the exported PDF because doing so does not always scale fonts and objects linearly. This effect becomes apparent in the exported PDF document. Using a high-resolution printer driver reduces or eliminates this effect.
