1219618 - Instance limits not being honored after clicking 'Update' in CMC

Symptom

  • In the Central Management Console (CMC) of BusinessObjects Enterprise, the option to 'Delete excess instances when there are more than N instances of an object' is selected.
    •  After clicking 'Update', all previously existing instances remain despite the instance limit.
  • This behavior does not occur if you set the instance limit before there are any historical instances.
