In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2 InfoView, when an image is added to a Web Intelligence report using a URL, it does not appear when the report is scheduled or saved to Portable Document Format (PDF) or Microsoft Excel (XLS). Instead, the image is replaced by a place holder.
This behavior also occurs in the DHTML viewer when View in PDF Format is selected.
