1219834 - Database error when refreshing a Web Intelligence document

Symptom

In BusinessObjects Enterprise XI R2, when creating or refreshing a Web Intelligence document that invokes JOIN_BY_SQL, the SQL generated will cause the following error message to appear:

"Database Error: [NCR][ODBC Teradata Driver][Teradata RDBMS] Syntax error: expected something between ')' and the string 'E' keyword."

NOTE: The error will vary based on database vendor and object definition.
