1219881 - Error: "User is not a member of a mapped group" logging into infoview with LDAP

Symptom

  • In InfoView, after restarting the Central Management Server (CMS) using dynamic groups LDAP logons fail with an error message:
  • "User is not a member of a mapped group"

 

  • When the administrator tries to remove a mapped group in the Central Management Console, sometimes an error message appears:
  • "Duplicate object exists".

 

  • Why do these error messages appear and how do you resolve them?
