1220026 - Error: "The EAR file could be corrupt "" when attempting to deploy afhelp.war

Symptom

When attempting to deploy the afhelp.war file to a WebSphere or WebLogic server, as specified in the BusinessObjects Performance Management XI Release 2 release notes, the operation fails with the following error message:

"The EAR file could be corrupt and/or incomplete. java.lang.ClassCastException: com.ibm.etools.commonarchive.impl.ArchiveImpl"

The afhelp.war file, which contains the online help for Performance Management, is located in the \ProgramFiles\BusinessObjects\Performance Management 11.5 folder.

Why are you unable to deploy this WAR file? How do you successfully deploy it?
