Symptom
In Crystal Reports 10, when a recurring formula is evaluated in a report that uses a global variable initialzed in a formula at the beginning of a subreport, the following error message appears:
"A subscript must be between 1 and the size of the array".
Cause
The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00572918.
Resolution
Hot Fixes or Service Packs address this issue as indicated below. With the update(s), the print engine re-evaluates the constant formulas if the recurring formulas size has changed, and the constant formulas depend on global variables or shared variables.
Unless indicated otherwise, Critical Hot Fix updates from the FTP site have only been tested with English versions of our products.
