Symptom
- Value of 24:00 display as 00:00 in Crystal Reports.
- When reporting of SAP tables containing fields with TIM data type that contain the value 24:00:00, they appear in Crystal Reports as 0:00:00.
Environment
- Crystal Reports XI R2
- Crystal Reports 2008
- SAP Crystal Reports 2011
- SAP Crystal Reports 2013
Reproducing the Issue
- In Crystal Reports, create a report off an SAP Table that contains a database field of data type TIM.
- Insert the database field of data type TIM on the report.
- For some row of data, it display 00:00 where when looking at the SAP System, the same row of data displays 24:00.
The expectation is to be able to see the value as 24:00 in Crystal Reports as well.
Cause
- This is by design because Crystal Reports only support a range of 0:00:00 to 23:59:59 for time fields.
