1220387 - Error: "Failed to open a rowset".[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld 4.1.7]"

Symptom

When attempting to create a Crystal 10 report based on MySQL 4.1.7, the following error message appears:

"Failed to open a rowset. Details: 23000:[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.1.7] You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(('kiwi_blat'.'DLOADS' 'DLOADS1' INNER JOIN 'kiwi_balt'.'DLISTS''DLISTS1' ON 'D' at line 1"

 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, upgrade to MySQL 4.1.8.
