1222314 - Why does the sort function not work on a row with 2 itemized dimensions?

In my schedule, rows displaying the breakdown of reporting units and partners are sorted by descending order. The following behavior can be observed:

RU   Partner     Amount

RU1   PA1              500

RU1   PA2              400

RU1   PA3              180

RU2   PA3              250

RU2   PA4              95

The function sorts amounts in descending order by reporting unit (e.g. grouping of all RU1 amounts, then of RU2 amounts). I would expect the function to sort by amount in descending order, regardless of reporting unit, as shown below:

RU   Partner     Amount  

RU1   PA1             500

RU1   PA2             400

RU2   PA3             250

RU1   PA3             180

RU2   PA4             95
