1231382 - Upgrade Crystal Reports XI R2 SP2 to SP3

Customer is trying to apply Service Pack 3 for Crystal Reports XI R2. 

Environment:

Crystal Reports XI R2 SP2, Business Objects XI R2 SP2

(Customer has Business Objects XI R2 and Crystal Reports XI R2 in the same machine.)

 Note: You need to install SP3 for Business Objects XI R2 before installing SP3 for Crystal Reports XI R2. 

 I have attached a document for your reference. Please refer page 12 of this document (xir2_sp3_getting_started_en.pdf). It says 

 “The Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Service Pack 3 package will proceed only if no BusinessObjects Enterprise components are detected. If additional BusinessObjects Enterprise components are detected the install will stop and display a warning message. In this case, you must install the full BusinessObjects XI Release 2 Service Pack 3 package.”
