Symptom

  • When  trying to set up Set Analyzer in a Business Objects Enterprise XI R2  Windows environment you see the following errors:
  • the server is not responding
  • followed by
  • it is not an RSS file
  • When Testing through the thick client Designer on the Business Objects Enterprise Server you also get the
  • cannot find  RSS file when trying setup a new connection in Designer on the BOEXI R2 Server
