1234080 - How to troubleshoot CMS Cluster communication issues


Below is a list of several symptoms caused by cluster communication issues.  You may be experiencing some or all of them:

  • Reports remain in a pending state
  • When one of the Central Management Servers (CMS) shuts down, users have to log in again. 
  • A report contains several unexpected recurring and successfully scheduled instances.  Sometimes, there can even be thousands.
  • The contents of a folder or report viewed within InfoView looks different between users.
