1235116 - Time Type Actual Hours Worked Not Available for Time Recording

Time type Actual Hours Worked (for example: DE00001, US00001) is not available in the Employee Time Sheet for selection. Therefore actual working hours cannot be recorded.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Time Administration work center. 
2. Go to Employees view.
3. Select the relevant employee and click Edit button.
4. Go to Employee Times tab.
5. Click New button.
6. Open the dropdown list for the field Time Type under the tab General.

The Time Type Actual Hours Worked - US00001 may be not available for selection.

The system has been scoped in a particular way so that the time type Actual Hours Worked is not necessary.

To ensure that time type Actual Hours Worked is in scope, follow the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the current project and click Edit Project Scope button.
4. Go to step Questions by clicking Next button.
5. Expand Human Resources option and then expand Time and Labor Management.
6. Select Time Recording option.
7. Mark the checkbox for question "Do you have any employees for whom you only record exception time?" under the section Time Recording Methods.
8. Click Save button.
