Symptom

  • Installing Business Objects XI 3.0 on DB2 v 8.1 on OS/390 with DB2 Connect V9.5 (client tool) gives an error:

"Error MSG: BusinessObjects Enterprise CMS: Unable to connect to the CMS database "CTSTG". Reason: [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL0518N The statement named in the EXECUTE statement is not in a prepared state or is a SELECT or VALUES statement. SQLSTATE=07003"
