1238168 - When using SQL DB links, Data integrator generates incorrect SQL

Symptom

  • 2 SQL server databases are set up with a database link. After configuring Data Integrator to use the database link in a join between two tables, Data Integrator generates an incorrect SQL and an error.
  • The error msg is of the type: (11.5) 08-01-08 08:17:00 (E) (2540:1532) DBS-070404:|DataflowDF_Test|ReaderQuerySQLsubmitted toODBCdatasource<vm11ncelardw2k3\BOTESTSTD> resulted in error<[Microsoft][ODBCSQLServerDriver][SQLServer]OLEDB error trace [Non-interface error:  OLEDBproviderdoes notcontainthetable:ProviderName='VM11NCELARDW2K3',TableName='"DBO"."TABLE1"'].>.TheSQLsubmitted is<INSERT INTO"DBO"."TABLE1"("ID") SELECT  "TABLE1"."ID"FROM DBSERVER1.."DBO"."TABLE1" "TABLE1" >.
