1253691 - Using Crystal Reports XI to export reports created from Crystal Reports 8.5 causing fused columns

Symptom

  • Reports created in Crystal Reports 8.5 export to Excel works fine.
  • Those reports got migrated to Crystal Reports XI.
  • When those reports exported to Excel the columns are fused.

Resolution

Workaround

  1. Open the exported reports in Excel.
  2. In Excel Format Option.
  3. Change the column width to constant column width (in points) to 30.
  4. The whole value will be shown.
