1256234 - Authentication dialogue box disappears in Xcelsius dashboard

Symptom

Previewing a dashboard using Query as a Web Service does not prompt for username and password.

Reproducing the Issue

  • Create a dashboard in Xcelsius.
  • Open Data Manager and import the wsdl url. 
  • Map the input values for username and password in excel.
  • Preview the dashboard, it does not prompt for username and password.

Product version:- Xcelsius 4.5

Operating System:- Windows XP 

Cause

This is a known issue for Xcelsius Enterprise version 4.5.

Resolution

Install Hotfix 9.0.0.1 released for Xcelsius Enterprise version 4.5
