1263406 - Wild-card Characters do not work in the Crystal Reports XI Release 2 SP2.

Symptom

  • In Database Expert Window, right click on the Available Data Sources area, and go to Options.
  • In the Options Window, go to Database Tab > Data Explorer, we see ‘Table name LIKE’.
  • For e.g. when we write Acc% in the text box provided for Table name LIKE, and click Ok, and choose the Create New Connection ODBC (RDO) the Available Data Source area does not shows any Tables, Views, System Tables, Synonyms, and Stored Procedures.

Reproducing the Issue

Product: Crystal Reports XI Release 2 (Version 11.5.8.826).
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP.

Install the Service Pack 3 for Crystal Reports XI Release 2, from the link provided below.
