Symptom

While trying to logon to BOE XI 3.1 .NET InfoView with AD authentication and SSO enabled,  you get the following error message. 

Error: Account Information Not Recognized: The Active Directory Authentication plugin could not authenticate at this time. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your technical support department.

The following assert error is also visible in the <BO Install Dir>/logging/w3wp_PID_Date_Time.log file
