1265882 - Unable to open Crystal Reports Server XI R2 CMC and InfoView

Symptom

After installation, unable to open Crystal Reports Server XI Release 2 - Central Management Console (CMC) or InfoView.

  • CMC URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise11/admin 
  • InfoView URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise11/desktop

Reproducing the Issue

Before upgrade, login to  XI CMC and Infoview once.

  1. Upgrade to XI R2.
  2. Run URL for CMC and for InfoView.
  3. The logon page appears.
  4. Error HTTP 404 when attempting to log in.

Environment:

  • Crystal reports server XI Release 2
  • Windows 2003

 

Cause

Enterprise11 is used for the CMC and InfoView URL.

Example:

  • CMC URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise11/admin 
  • InfoView URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise11/desktop

Resolution

For XIR2, use the correct URL with enterprise115.

  • CMC URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin 
  • InfoView URL= http://localhost/businessobjects/enterprise115/desktop
