1266936 - XI 3.0 Web Intelligence Processing Server crashes while processing report with Drill Filters enabled and throws Error: RWI 00236

Symptom

  • A XI 3.0 Web Intelligence report with multiple data providers and with drill filters enabled errors and creashes the Web Intelligence Processing Server.
  • The Web Intelligence Processing Server stops running.  In Unix, a core file can be found in the 'bobje' directory.
  • The Web Intelligence server cannot be reached.  Please contact your Business Objects Administrator.  (Error: RWI 00236)
  • The Java Application Server Java Stack Trace shows:  java.lang.RuntimeException: com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.IManagedService$ManagedServiceFatalException: FatalException occured. The cause was : com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.OCAFrameworkException$CommunicationError: Communication error occurred when trying to connect to server SIAD.WebIntelligenceProcessingServer (FWM 01009)
