1268369 - Single Sign-On to InfoView fails from certain client machines for certain users


When trying to logon to InfoView using Single Sign-On:

  • In a IIS (.NET) environment:
    • IIS authentication popup appears when trying to logon to InfoView and Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication fails.
    • Manual authentication works.
  • In a Java environment:
    • Wrong account is logged on by SSO
    • Error: "Account Information Not Recognized: Active Directory Authentication failed to log you on. Please contact your system administrator to make sure you are a member of a valid mapped group and try again." appears.
  •  If the user belongs to a valid mapped group there will be no error and SSO will continue but when accessing infoview the incorrect username will be logged in on the top right hand corner
