When supplying Oracle database credentials during the installation of BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 on Linux, the following error is received:
"Failure to validate the database credential has a potential to crash the database at a later stage. Enter the correct information."
Then, when choosing to exit the installation, an additional error is displayed at the command line:
"./dbcheck: error while loading shared libraries: /software/BOBJ31/51035053_BOE/setup/libicui18n.so.30: file too short."
