1275598 - Error: WIS 10901: Database error: Bad Value for Field : Corrupted UTF8 data!.

Symptom

Users get this error message when scheduling WebIntelligence reports: "10901: Database error: Bad Value for Field : Corrupted UTF8 data!. Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)"

The error occurs for all users, even when they refresh their reports ad hoc. Restarting the WebIntelligence reportserver solves the issue temporarily.

No data will be returned to Oracle reports that use UTF8 characters and that use lossy data compression.
