Symptom

  • Getting the following error when trying to attach a file to a case:
    Error: extension not allowed
  • Only certain file extensions are supported as attachments within support cases
  • The error mostly occurs after the file has been loaded into the system, and the system realizes that it is not a supported extension
  • The error will appear at the top of the attach window
