1280025 - Prompt values are purged in Desktop Intelligence report after purging the data provider (query)

Symptom

  • After applying Service Pack 3 on Business Objects XI Release 2 the prompt values are purged.
  • After modifying the query when we click on Save and Close button following option appears as a pop-up.

         "Do Not Retrieve Data Purges the query. Are you sure you want to purge the query?"

  • Click on yes and then the prompt values will be purged. Previously on Business Objects XI Release 2 Service Pack 2 only the report data used to get purged not the prompt values.
