1286393 - Error: "The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect" when opening a Crystal Report based on Excel Database File.

Symptom

When we create a Crystal Report is created based on an Excel sheet database file located on a remote location and saved in the BusinessObjects Enterprise, while opening the report from Infoview or Central Management Console (CMC), it throws an error

" The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect ".
