1288139 - How to assign a default printer and custom page size to a Crystal Report while publishing on BOXI R2 Server

Symptom

When a Crystal Report scheduled on BOXI R2 server, it is not taking report default printer and page size. 

Reproducing the Issue

1.Create a crystal Report with a default printer and specific page size and publish on BOXI R2 Server.

2. When you schedule this report it will take server

3.Select default printer and default page size.

Cause

This is because the default printer is not properly assigned to the report while scheduling.

Resolution

1.The default printer needs to be assigned to the Crystal Report before scheduling .  This is one time settings

2.Logon to CMC

3.Objects--Find the object and click on object                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                   
4.Go in Process.

5.Print Setup                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                   
6.Make the following settings :                                                                                                       

Print when scheduling : Select the printer which is installed on server or select a network printer in specify printer column.

7.If you need to print the report on server default printer then select Default Printer Radio Button.

8.Select the report's page layout : Here you can select options :

9.Report defualt size : This will take from report.

10. Specified Printer Settings : While installing printer if you set  default page settings then the settings will be applied.

11. Custom Settings : This will allow the user the specify the custom page size while printing.

12. After setting all the above click on Update .
