How to manually migrate Crystal Reports from Crystal Enterprise 8 to Crystal Report Server XI with the help of the Crystal Report designer.

• Crystal Enterprise 8.0.
• Crystal Reports Developer XI.
• Crystal Reports Server XI.

If we try to migrate the reports using the Import Wizard, it does not show the selection for Crystal Enterprise XI.

• Open the Crystal Reports Developer XI.
• Click on "File >> Open >> Enterprise".
• Login using Enterprise credentials to the Crystal Enterprise 8 and open the Crystal Report which is to be migrated to the new environment.
• Refresh the report to verify the database logon credentials and verify all the features in the report are working.
• Click on File >> Save as and save the report to the Folder under Crystal Report Server XI.
• Login to Central Management Console (CMC) using the enterprise account.
• Navigate to the folder where the report is saved.
• Provide the Database logon credentials for the report.
• Changed the option at the bottom to "Use same database logon as when report is run".
• Click on update to save the changes.
• Click on "Properties" tab.
• Click on "Preview" button to open the report in Central Management Console (CMC).
