1290655 - Analytical Reporting web application will not start and is causing 404 errors

Symptom

  • Tomcat that is being used already existed or was installed separately. 
  • When trying to start AnalyticalReporting from Tomcat Manager, the following error occurs:
    • FAIL - Application at context path /AnalyticalReporting could not be started
  • In Infoview > Preferences > Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence, the following error occurs:
    • HTTP Status 404.  The requested resource () is not available.
