Symptom
- Using font @Arial Unicode MS (The @ indicates that this font contains additional information used to display vertical text)
- No Printer Installed
- Resulting Exported report will be incorrectly formatted.
Cause
With no printers installed, Crystal Reports will use the default Microsoft Generic Printer driver. This printer driver is not capable of handling the @Arial Unicode MS font and will not render it correctly.
Resolution
Install a printer driver capable of render the font.
Workaround: When not using vertical text change the font to a non-@ version of the font (e.g. Arial Unicode MS instead of @Arial Unicode MS)
