1298598 - Double clicking a Desktop Intelligence document produces a Read-Only dialogue and filename is displaed in 8.3 format

Symptom

  • Double clicking a Desktop Intellignece document from Windows Explorer opens the report in Desktop Intelligence and a Read-Only Dialogue box is presented.
  • Also, the filename displayed in the title bar is in the dos 8.3 format. 
  • Opening the same file using the File -> Open method does not produce the Read-Only dialogue and the filename displayed in the title bar is in long format.
