1302843 - configuring security on Business Objects server

Reports with static or dynamic parameters are not working with specific SQL 2005 drivers on the Business Objects Server

Reproducing the Issue

1.Try to connect with SQL 2005 drivers to the SQL database.

2.Create Dynamic parameter reports and publish it to enterprise in XI 3.0, it fails.

3.The report doesn’t save to enterprise with native drivers.

1. Try to remove the old database connection and drivers in the server.

2. Make sure if the login credentials to the SQL authentication works fine if not create new login credentials.

3.Create a new connection with SQL 2000database drivers in the server i.e in (System DSN)

4.Try to publish a sample report to enterprise XI 3.0 by creating a new static and dynamic parameters and in the select expert given one condition in the report.

5.Using the same connections publish the report without a saved data option from designer.

6.It will prompt for values to enter in the report with in CMC or Info view in XI 3.0.

7.After entering the values the report will work fine in enterprise.
