1303984 - XCelsius 4.5 Report using prompts is not refreshing with Qaaws

Symptom

An XCelsius dashboard report using Qaaws as refresh method ,when published, does not refresh the reports which has prompts .

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Install Service Pack 3 for Business Objects XIR2.
  2. Create Xcelsius Dashboard created of Xcelsius 4.5 which uses Qaaws as refresh method, insert prompt in the query.
  3. Publish the dashboard to the Business Objects Enterprise.
  4. The Dashboard will not refresh data.

Cause

This is a known issue with the installation of service pack 3 and has been identified with an ID  ADAPT00915785.

Resolution

Download Fix Pack 3.3 for Business Objects XIR2 from https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/support and install on your Business Objects Enterprise to resolve the issue.
