1305162 - Sort list of values when the data source is Universe

Sort the data in the prompt fields created using date field and show the list of values in ascending or descending order.

1.Create a Crystal Report using efashion Universe. Insert a filter condition in the query panel

(Eg:City is equal to City)

2. As we can’t sort the list of values at Crystal Designer level.

3. Go to the efashion universe, select the object field(Eg:City),right click on the object and select the object properties tab. Click on "Edit"

4.A query panel window gets open,click on "Mange Sort option".

5.A window is opened where we can see the available objects. Select "City" objects and add it to the Query sorts. On the right hand side we can see ascending or descending options, select any of the option and save and close the window.(For Eg:Descending order)

6.In the properties tab check the option "Associate List of Values" and also check "Export the Universe" option.

7.Refresh the values.

8.Save the Universe and export the universe.

9.Replace the query and try to refresh the report. It prompts for List of values of city field.

10.The values in the drop down list of LOV’s are displayed in the descending order.
