1307950 - Error: -"CS:DBDriver failed to load" while trying to create a new universe connection.

Symptom

  • Error: "CS:DBDriver failed to load:E:\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\dbd_db2cli.dll (The specified procedure could not be found)" while trying to create a new universe connection.
  • This happens while creating a new connection using the Data Access Driver (DB2 V9 - IBM DB2 Client). The error message occurred right after selecting this driver.
