1313925 - Desktop Intelligence crashes when importing/exporting a report, with "Application error busobj.exe, MSVCR80.dll" in the Event Viewer

Symptom

  • Desktop Intelligence closes down during import and export of reports, or cannot be opened at all.
  • Desktop Intelligence itself does not generate an error message.
  • The following error is generated in the event viewer :

"Error signature     AppName: busobj.exe     AppVer: 12.1.0.882  ModName: msvcr80.dll"
