Symptom
Temporary files are not being cleaned up when using the Report Application Server (RAS) on a multi-processor system.
Cause
Using Embedded RAS with a single CPU license on a computer with multiple processors can cause the temporary files to not get cleaned up because a CPU processor is unable to clean up the temporary files generated by a different CPU processor.
Resolution
Set processor affinity for the RAS process to use the first CPU. For instructions on how to set processor affinity, see note 1217760 (Listed in the references section of this note).
