How to link the slice of the Pie Chart to Business Objects report

Reproducing the Issue

Product Version:-Xcelsius 2008 SP1 Fix Pack1.

Resolution

  1. Open Xcelsius and drag the Pie Chart component to canvas.
  2. Also drag the url link button on the canvas.
  3. Now wirte a opendoc url for the Business Objects report.
  4. Configure the Pie Chart to display the data.
  5. Enable drill down on the pie chart and specify an excel cell as the destination row.
  6. In the url button poreprties go to the behavior tab and specify the trigger cell.
  7. It should be the same location as the destination row specified in the drill down of Pie Chart.
