When you try to connect to a CMS database, you have this message in the CMS log file : 

• CMS "assert failure: (.\serverhelper.cpp:38). (0 : Now that there are servers other than OCA servers you have to figure out how to get the machines name)."

and the cms doesn't start

From the Event viewer, addtionnal symptoms : 

• event id : 33301 "Retryable error returned from CMS database"
• event id : 4096 "[Node Name: RMFRDEFA515] [User Name: SYSTEM] Server Intelligence Agent: server RMFRDEFA515.CentralManagementServer stopped with exit code = 1 (0x1)."
